Beauty: Flat Iron Free Straight Hair + Giveaway

I'll admit it - I'm not that great at doing my hair, (if you haven't been able to tell). Well - I've heard that the key to a great at-home blow out is the hair dryer and since I've been using the same cheap one for the last 5 years I was in for a big treat when I tested out the new Panasonic nanoe Hair Dryer. In the last few months I've also discovered a few other products that have left my hair more silky and healthy than ever and I think I've finally figured out how to get straight, soft hair without damaging it with a flat iron. Read on to see my tips, tricks and favorite products and how you can win one of these awesome hair dryers!

I'll start by sharing the list of products I use. Since I started using this Pantene shampoo conditioner my hair has drastically improved so I think that's helped. Combined with the nanoe hair dryer (it actually moisturizes your hair while it dries!) and not using a flat iron --my hair finally feels good (after 20 years with thin, damaged hair).

And here are the steps for my easy, daily straight hair tutorial!

1. Immediatly after you shower spray a detangler onto your hair, part and comb.
2. Allow hair to air dry for at least 10-20 minutes (key!).
3. Apply a dime size amount of Living Proof 5 in 1 Treatment on roots and ends.
4. Use a clip to section your hair.
5. If you have bangs dry them first then move to the bottom layer and use a round brush to pull and straighten hair while you dry it.
6. Follow with the second layer of hair.
7. Apply an anti-frizz serum or oil if needed!

Now for the fun -- I have one gift set from Panasonic to giveaway to a reader which includes a brush, dryer, flat iron and several products! To enter you must tweet a picture of your own #GoodHairDay to @beautypanasonic & @stylewthinreach. 1 winner will be selected at random next Wednesday, 3/19. Open to US residents only.
