Hey! What's Happening?

Hi Ladies! Back for Patti's Visible Monday What has been happening in my world? I dyed my hair 3 times over the last 10 days, and I don't like it - Why did I do it? don't know really, call it temporary insanity- The hair is still in good shape, I will go back to platinum blond slowly-

I'm loosing my new colleague at work
She having to much of a cultural shock
Non-profit organisations will do that to you
It's a completely different world
Chaotic and emotional
Not everybody can work for an non-profit organisation
I'm lucky, I have the perfect spot there, kind of shelter from the chaos
My boss is sweet
I'm learning every day and I got a raise

I stopped smoking again, it has been a month now, it has been surprisingly easy - I stopped for a year but started again in last July when i went to Cuba -
I have been cooking a storm lately, mostly vegetarian and vegan dishes, I like to know what I'm eating and meat these days is not that appealing to me- I have reading about how they treat animals and I'm in the disgust mood about meat now-
That is a good thing, being vegetarian made me lost weight and I feel 10 times better!
Mr. D the meat and potatoes guy has been enjoying the vegetarian food and lost a little weight as well
So never say never men CAN eat vegetarian with a smile

Mr. D has a new job, is now head of another non-profit organisation this time helping children in distress
We kind of figure will get married at the end of August
We are yet to plan the trip to the South of France this summer

On a totally different subject
We have been to a Home Show today, my son had free tickets
We came across Royal Vacuum cleaners today at the home show
They named the vacuum cleaners after the Royal Family
How far will they go to sell vacuum cleaners I tell you?

Lots of things going on these days
And not always time for blogging
But i always come back cause i like to keep in touch!
