I bought these shoes a few months ago and let them sit in my closet for far too long. It was one of those situations when I wanted to wait for the perfect outfit to debut them, but I also had no idea what that perfect outfit looked like. Then I woke up one morning and decided I could wait no longer. Fuck perfection. I just wanted to wear the shoes! And so I pulled them out of the box in which they came, put them on my feet and stared into my closet. I debated pairing the adorable bows and whimsical lucite heels with equally sweet dresses, but that didn’t feel right. Instead I put together a look that’s ladylike and chic but with a touch of edginess thanks to faux leather pleats and a winking clutch. In the end, I think this was the perfect outfit to debut these shoes. Maybe all I needed was a little pressure?
