Rawgirls Review . . . ArtDeco Eye Designer and Waterproof Eyeliner!

Today I'm playing with a couple of new products from one of my fave concessions, ArtDeco Debenhams Liverpool One! The pretty interesting Eye Designer Applicator (£9) and refills in 57 Emerald and 70 Lavender (£8.50 each), plus the 91 Blue Violet Waterproof Eyeliner (£8).

C/O ArtDeco
The Eye Designer Applicator is a double ended spring loaded sponge tip applicator for use with the Eye Designer Refills. You just screw the colour of your choice onto either end of the applicator and it loads with the perfect amount of shadow every time. The applicator itself is very easy to use, with the point allowing for delicate work and the round edges giving you a more all over sweep of colour. The refill shadows are really nice, I love ArtDeco shadow anyway but these refills have a lovely soft consistency making them really easy to blend and they last for ages without creasing too. It's ideal for just popping into your bag or travelling. A nude combination of cream and a shimmery beige would be the perfect duo to keep in your bag for touch ups!

The Waterproof Eyeliner is pretty darn amazing, it literally lasts all day, and well into the night. Last week I wore it from 2pm through to midnight, with a steaming bath in the middle and I still had to use waterproof eye makeup remover to get it off before bed. Despite being hard wearing, it applies softly but you have to be really quick if you want to blend because it sets in place super fast! Ideal for precision work though, sharpened to a point this would make a perfect upper lash flicker.

Swatch time! From the top, we have Eye Designer Refill in 57 Emerald, an earthy green. Middle is Eye Designer Refill in 70 Lavender, a very girly lilac. And finally at the bottom a little squiggle of Waterproof Eyeliner in 91 Blue Violet, a beaut mix of navy blue and purple!

For the on the eye look here I used Eye Designer in 70 Lavender and Waterproof Eyeliner in 91 Blue Violet. I think it looks really pretty and even though it's a pretty bright colour, it's not too in your face.

Overall, fine holiday fun! The Eye Designer is a lot of fun, but it could get expensive because I like to have an applicator for each eye colour and washing them for a switcheroo wouldn't really enter my mind, so I'd be buying the £9 applicators all over the show. The Waterproof Eyeliner is definitely on my list for when I need a new black one, you have to respect an all dayer!
