Launches from Different Dimension today!

At a couple of the indie events held during Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas, I got to meet and chat with Missi, founder of Different Dimension!

I was excited to meet her because she has a special connection with a BeautyJudy reader, and I love connecting those kinds of dots! I was also excited to be introduced to her line of lacquer and oils.

Missi, a nail tech, told me she started out frankening polish. I’m glad she started selling it in 2012. My intro to the brand, the Cosmologically Speaking collection that is launching today, is beautiful!

Cosmologically Speaking collection (partial)

Without further ado, here are four polishes from the Cosmologically Speaking collection, which launches today at NOON here!

Big Bang:

Big Bang is an amazing silver holo. I don’t own a holo quite like this, the glitter is so dense and it’s like a disco ball on my nails. This is two coats – it’s great coverage.

Supernova:

Supernova is a beautiful navy blue and purple duochrome polish. Shown here in two coats, I loved this in natural light vs. sunlight, because the shift is so beautiful! I’m a sucker for a duochrome or multichrome polish!

Heavenly Waters:

Heavenly Waters is a stunning, bright blue linear holo. Opaque in two coats, I didn’t want to take this off!

Ultraviolet:

Ultraviolet is a beautiful pink linear holo that seems to have a lilac glow to her. Another polish that meant I couldn’t stop staring at my nails when I wore it!

The polishes above will be available on the Different Dimension Etsy shop (linked to up further). There are 14 total in the collection, and they range in price from $8.75 to $11!

Are you picking any of these up today?!

Diversion Oils

Also launching today are Diversion Oils!

I received samples of Diversion Oils in the Headache formula, and Relax.

These aromatherapy oils are simple – Relax, for example, has three ingredients: Jojoba oil, seed oil and fragrance oil.

I use the Relax oil quite frequently. It’s got a wonderful lavender scent. I keep it by my bed, and at night before sleep I use it on my temples, across my forehead and I even dab it under my nose so I can smell it strongly.

Some nights when I have trouble turning off my mind, which is racing with thoughts about what stresses me out, or my to-do list at work, I use the oil and concentrate on picturing something I like to do, or something I love, or even just a blank piece of paper. Sometimes I’m able to relax this way and fall asleep.

The Diversion Oils are plastic roller balls, and are great for travel. I know I could use something to help me relax when I’m staying in a strange hotel bed!

I used the Headache oil once, but I don’t know if it helped, or the Excederin Migraine I took helped! Let’s say both! It’s got a soothing combo of peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil.

These two oils will be available today, link further up in the post. They will retail for $6.50

Cuticle Oil

I’ve been keeping this cuticle oil in Jolly Rancher scent in my cosmetic bag, and putting it on my desk everyday. I love to use it at work while I’m on a conference call. I have a lot of oils that are perfect for on-the-go, and this is too, but I think of this as my at-night or at-my-desk oil. The scent is wonderful; its so sweet!

The cuticle oil is also launching today and will retail for 4.50 for a 2mL pen, and $6.50 for 15mL plastic dropper (the one I reviewed!) or glass polish bottle.

Overall, I really love my introduction to Different Dimension. There are other polishes I want from Cosmologically Speaking, based on swatches I saw on Different Dimension’s Instagram!

What do you think of these products?! Are you going to be ordering anything from the launch today?!

Disclaimer: I received the polishes and oils in a gift bag at an event, from the PR Firm/Manufacturer. Please visit my Disclosure tab for more information on how BeautyJudy.com keeps it real!
