My Burberry

Attending the Burberry Prorsum show at London Fashion Week is always a highlight of the season for me. It’s not just about the collection with this show, it’s the whole atmosphere. I remember the first time I received a Burberry invite, being there was electrifying, and four seasons on, I still feel the same buzz and excitement.

I’m so happy to have been dressed by the brand this season. When I popped into the showroom at Horseferry House a few days before the show, I was met with a rail full of beautiful pieces, but nothing caught my eye quite like this skirt. It was more of a personal challenge then anything to see if I’d even be able to pull off a skirt that actually came with a pair of knickers, but I think pairing it with this slouchy grey jumper seemed to add the right amount of casual to balance the statement that this fabulous piece of clothing was making.

I’m pleased to see that in the upcoming collection, Christopher Bailey won’t be relieving us of any future challenges to be wearing sheer clothing once again.
