(Writing Diary) Where do we go from here?

The truth is, I don't know. I've published a book, seen is displayed in a store next to It by Alexa Chung, made the bestseller list... Even for a truly successful writer, all of that would be considered a coup. For regular me with my day job and my fashion blog, it was like a dream. But in the past month I've slowly woken up and I'm not sure what my next move should be. I am at once unsure if I've done enough to get my book out into the world and at a loss as to what more I might do to spread the word. In the meantime, I'm still slowly scribbling away on book two in my few free moments. So I suppose, to sum up, what I'm trying to say is that as far as my writing goes right now, I don't really know what to say.

La vérité c'est que je ne sais pas. J'ai publié mon roman, je l'ai vu en librairie à côté d'It par Alexa Chung, je me suis retrouvée parmi les bestsellers... Même si j'étais écrivaine réussie, ça aurait été un joli coup. Mais en tant que fille ordinaire avec un boulot et un blog, ce fut un rêve. Pendant le mois passé, je me suis lentement réveillée et je ne sais pas trop quoi faire maintenant. Ai-je fait assez pour promouvoir mon roman ? Et en même temps, que puis-je faire de plus ? Entretemps, je gribouille toujours dans mon petit carnet, griffonnant les chapitres de mon deuxième roman quand je peux. Alors je suppose que ce que je vous raconte au sujet de mon écriture, c'est que je ne sais pas trop quoi vous raconter.
