A Romantic Getaway to France’s Champagne-Ardenne Region

When I met my husband I was a food assistant, making little money, but I was constantly surrounded by some of the best food and wine on offer, and I started to enjoy a glass of Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) bubbly every so often. Méthode Cap Classique is the name given to sparkling wine, made in South Africa according to the traditional French Méthode Champenoise style. So it’s the closest thing we have to Champagne, as it is made using the same method.
