Tasted { Belle Diner }

In anticipation of the latest Dishcrawl event, I'll be posting a few photos I've taken recently at places where I love to eat, that coincidentally are driven by a few of the six chefs competing in Battledish this Saturday. They'll go head-to-head trying to woo the ticket holders and guest judges to win titles such as Most Delicious, Most Creative, Best Modern, Best Cocktail, and Most Authentic.

One of the six chefs is Chef David Johnson of Belle Diner. I was thrilled when the restaurant relocated to downtown Memphis just a block for my office. Often it's take-out but this particular day I noticed the large rustic table had a rare opening and snagged it for some photos. A party of ladies asked to take the leftover seats and I happily obliged in exchange for a few minutes photographing their dishes. The few minutes were noticeably a sacrifice as they were very eager to dig in, so thank you again ladies. I'm sure your dishes were as delectable as mine.
