Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine Review PK326 & WN356

I have been going through my drawer, my ‘new stuff not opened yet’ and throwing caution to the wind recently – so if you see lots of random posts of products that aren’t brand new, that is why!

Two lipsticks I purchased in the SpaceNK annual sale and never used are these Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine Lipsticks in PK326 (light pink) and WN356 (sheer pinky berry).

I have mentioned this formula many times before - it’s basically an exquisite lipstick, but the early formulas had a problem with the packaging as all my lipstick lids formed cracks in them. My newer ones have not, so I can only guess that they managed to fix it somehow.

Anyway, to summarise – Supreme Shine lipsticks are super shiny, hydrating, glossy-watery finish lipstick with good pigmentation too. They shine a lot without looking cheap and tacky, they have the finest shimmer which just makes the lips look healthy and gorgeous. This formula is really really really lovely and one of those things that Japanese brands are just very good at doing.

Some colours in these formula have been discontinued already.

Here are my swatches:

These have quite a soft texture which spreads easily on the lips. It is like wearing a gloss but in a lipstick form. Longevity isn’t great but it’s to be expected on a glossy formula really.

WN356 is a berry. Here it is on the lips – it’s very very pretty without being too much for the day time:

PK326 is a shimmer free light pink. More of a summery shade and a tad light for me I think, but I can still appreciate this lipstick:

If you haven’t tried the Supreme Shines yet and want to try a really lip plumping, healthy, glossy lipstick that feels amazing on the lips, try one of these! It’s a watery shiny formula that I think Japanese brands do better than anyone else, and what the Shu lipstick excels at is capturing the micro fine shimmer in the formula that looks elegant and not tacky but also interesting.

I bought these at half price in the SpaceNK sale (long gone now) but you can see the range on the Shu Uemura website for £20 each.
