I have wanted to try the famous Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado for a long time, but some how, I always ended up finishing something else.
I do forget to put eye cream on and I really really shouldn’t – god knows that I have eye bags and fine wrinkles forming rapidly so a bit of TLC around the area would not go amiss! I have had and tried lots of pricey eye products, such as La Mer and Sisley, both cost well over £100 and yes I’ve liked them, but I haven’t found a miracle product yet.
Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado suits my current skin very much – it’s dry, its sensitive, it’s highly reactive. I’ve always had a dry eye area, (I can tell by how make up settles sometimes) but at the same time I can’t use anything – I get itchy eyes easily and I get little blemishes around there if a product doesn’t suit.
This eye cream (can I call it that?!) is very concentrated and rich indeed, in a pea green type colour. It contains avocado, beta carotene and shea butter (too rich for some) and is one of the thickest eye creams I own which was a surprise. You only need the tiniest dot so you don’t end up over applying.
Therefore this product is definitely for dry skin types – like I said my skin badly needs this level of hydration and I have used this product successfully without any blemishes or blockages, so to speak, appearing around my eye area!
Because it is so thick, you have to warm it a little I think to get a good spread/pat. It’s improved the texture around my eyes – yes those bags are still there but the whole eye area feels healthier overall.
This is £20 for 14g or £33 for 28g here.
