So before we get to the “meat and potatoes” of today’s post, if you will, I just want to address something real quick. You’ve probably noticed lately that there’s been a pretty good amount of sponsored posts and/or content around here the past few weeks, and I just want to say that I know it’s sort of lame that they’ve seemed to all pile up right around each other. (Yes I have another one today…but I promise, it’s an awesome giveaway!)

I realize that sponsored posts aren’t for everyone, and it can be kind of a drag to see a bunch of them one right after the other. I totally get it. I usually try my best to space things out as much as possible, but sometimes it’s out of my control and I have deadlines to follow (and sometimes, I suddenly realize that it’s just me that’s totally forgotten about something…I’ll definitely take ownership of that!). I’m trying to be very mindful of this moving forward.

But because I enjoy working with different brands and trying out new things, there will still be sponsored content around here from time to time. The truth is, they do help support this blog, and I am forever appreciative for those of you who continue to come back and read. But I hope you all know that I will only continue to work with and promote different brands and companies that I absolutely love (or, if I’m reviewing, really interested in trying out).
