Schiaparelli Couture Fall 2014 Collection

Diego Della Valle, the owner of Tod’s and Roger Vivier, bought and relaunched the Schiaparelli brand a couple of years ago. Schiaparelli, a contemporary and rival of Coco Chanel, was known for her innovative designs – having introduced the first women’s shorts, colored zip fastenings and also catwalk shows. She closed the label in 1954, following World War II.

Della Valle is reportedly trying to concentrate on couture before branching out into luxury ready-to-wear and other products. Here are some of our favorites from the fall 2014 couture collection. Enjoy! x
