And in the blink of an eye, it's summer again in the Philippines! Pretty soon, I won't be able to stand anything with sleeves on it! If you've never been to Manila, believe me when I say that the heat and excessive sweating can really take a toll on anyone. Thank goodness for sodas and halo-halo!
Now I know it's going to be so tempting to dress down in this weather...we've all been there! Still, I'd like to challenge ourselves this season: Let's not betray our love for fashion just because of the scorching heat! Heck, summer is probably the best time to bring out your brightest colors and boldest prints! Now's the chance to show your sunny side into your outfits!
Here I'm wearing my royal blue camisole and printed skirt, both from THE BERRIES. As you can tell, this is a pretty basic look. The styling here comes in making this look more interesting than it actually is. It doesn't take the most creative mind to put a plain top and printed skirt together. However, if you choose the right colors, the right prints, and the right shapes, you can end up with a comfortably sassy look!
