Wedding Inspiration: The Princess Couture Bride

My wedding is coming up in three months, I already have my two gowns **I know I am greedy**, and generally most details are sorted but that doesn’t mean I don’t swoon over dramatic couture bridal gowns like this one designed by Ralph & Russo.

I think all girls dream of a fairy tale princess dress like this, why wouldn’t you it is simply beautiful, it’s the dress you wish for a lottery win, a sugar daddy or a fairy godmother. I don’t know how much a gown like this would cost, a lot for sure, especially as it took 3,900 hours to do all the hand embroidery – details like that not only make this one special gown but one with a hefty price tag.

But it’s the details of this dress that I truly adore, the 40 different types of beads, the 25 different Swarovski crystal designs, the 6 metre train, and the fact that it needed the help of 5 male models to help the beautiful Hanna Ben Abdesslem turn on the runway.

I just can’t express how exquisite I think this couture bridal gown is, I love everything from the luxurious embroidery to the volume in the skirt and the hand-printed Chantilly-lace effect, I think it is because it marries the modern and traditional bride so well. Now where is my fairy godmother when I need her!!!

To really see the beauty of this gown watch the short film below, the couture bridal gown really shimmers and those details really shine through. Love, love, love it – now this is a wow bridal dress. I am already jealous of the bride who gets to get married in this beauty.

Do you love Ralph & Russo’s couture bridal gown as much as I do?
