Initially I wanted to start writing this post complaining the light was too bright for taking pictures today and make excuses for that fact that the pics didn’t really turn out the way I want them to. Or in fact: I wanted to complain about the fact that the weather has been too good, can you imagine that? Yesterday the terrible news about flight MH17 hit us hard and I have to admit that something like this certainly puts all things in perspective. Our problems turn out to be nothing compared to what those families must have gone through. What their next of kins must feel now. I can’t even imagine what must have gone through their minds when they heard the news.

I just wanted to take a minute to give a moment’s thought to the fact that most of us don’t life in a warzone (not mentioning any particular war in here, cause everyone who’s living in war, fights his own battle, his own war), most of us don’t die of hunger and most of us don’t have to deal with planecrashes. Just take a minute. And breathe. You’re lucky.
