FRESH/LICKS // CRAFT SPELLS – Breaking The Angle Against The Tide

It’s been a while since we’ve last heard of Craft Spells – first time around was in year 2011 when a lovely PR sent an email to frock&roll. Today Captured Tracks announced Nausea, which comes out on 10th June in the US via Captured Tracks. It’s the band’s first material since 2012 EP ‘Gallery’ and preceding debut, 2011′s ‘Idol Labor’.

Breaking The Angle Against The Tide is a bitter sweet track exploring the angles of former lives, time spent, time passed, and time wasted only to be broken by waters of baroque bitten strings and piano composed melodies. Nausea provides an anecdote for the sea-sickness of the world’s information overload and we’re already sure it’s gonna provide our summer’s soundtrack for heartaches or if we’re lucky the record will soundtrack a summer romance.
