Vienna Fun Facts

Vienna is one of the best places to go to if you fancy a chilled out city trip, since I have lived there for four years until a year ago I’m know my way around and am obviously the perfect tourist guide. There are a lot of places that are waiting for you to be discovered – Vienna offers something for everybody: lots of museums, great architecture, many parks, lots of lovely places by the water and a good enough night-live to enjoy dancing until the early hours. But of course it’s all about the secret places that you might not read about in a tourist guide.

My personal favourite is definitely ‘Alte Donau’, not jut because I was living in walking distance, but it is nice to visit throughout the year and enjoy the nature. Ice crystals in winter, sitting on my favourite bench in Spring and Autumn reading a book by the river or sunbathing and skinny dipping in summer.
