{restyle} Floral Kimono

I stared at this shirt for the longest time before restyling it. I couldn't be sure it hadn't already been in my life. Namely, on my mother in the 80s, accessorised with permed hair. I wasn't sure if it had potential as a floral print, or if it was too recent. (Yeah, yeah, I know... the 80s were a million years ago...whatev) However, inspired by kimonos and tassles, I whipped the collar and buttons off and added my own homemade tassles made from pulled strips of knit. It's not the flashest job but it's light and summery and I like to think I've given it a second chance at life outside of the 80s (although it does look like I'm rocking an 80s spiral perm doesn't it...)
