Bunny’s Bedroom

Most of the articles surround the sale of Bunny Mellon’s estate at Sotheby’s mention her relationship with Hubert de Givenchy. He was not only her go to designer but also a good friend. So much so that he had a bedroom in his Cap Ferrat home dubbed the Bunny guest room, above.

Clos de Fiorentina has a rich history of owners including the The Schlumberger’s to Rory Cameron who also lived at La Fiorentina, another famous home. Hubert de Givenchy acquired it in the 1980’s and renovated the property in his elegant and timeless aesthetic. While the Bunny bedroom is lovely, I have always admired the master bedroom with its bench of books and simple decor. In this case, less is definitely more.
