I have a confession to make…I’m obsessed with Instagram! I know, no shocker there. But, my obsession has reached new heights with my discovery of VSCOcam and it’s glorious filters. I can spend 10-15 minutes editing a photo before I post it. Times that by 5-8 photos posted a day and that’s an average of 1-2 hours spent on editing Instagram photos! That’s 7-14 hours a week, 28-56 hours a month and 364-728 hours a year! AHHH!!! Ok, I’m back. What I love most about filters is the film or vintage quality it gives a photo. It’s ironic that in an age when anyone can take a professional grade picture with their smart phone, we all crave the grittiness of an old school photo. For this post, I took the professional pics taken by the lovely Sylvia and gave them the VSCOcam treatment. You know, so I can feel like I they were taken in 1989 instead of last week. YAY filters!
