more than a doggie cone

If you have or ever had a dog, you’re probably familiar with the “cone of shame” they sometimes have to wear. Well, see the skirt I’m wearing? It’s made of doggie cones!!! More Than A Cone is a charity campaign where artists re-imagine the “cone of shame” as an art piece. The original works of art will be auctioned off to benefit Best Friends Animal Society this June, which is the largest no-kill shelter in the U.S. My blogger bud, Synde Summer, designed/created this skirt using 3 layered dog cones. She hand painted them and added Swarovski crystals for a touch of bling. Hayden and I just had to show our love for such a great cause, so I threw on the skirt and shot with my boy. I must admit, I felt a little like Lady Gaga with it on; it was awesome.
