BFI London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival rebrands as BFI Flare: London LGBT Film Festival

The London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival has relaunched as BFI Flare: London LGBT Film Festival for its 28th edition. Flare connotes the spark of new innovative ideas but also the light of cinema projectors and marks a new more-encompassing, bright and inspiring beginning for the festival without changing its winning formula.
The dates for this year are March 20-30 and will see a tight schedule of film projections, events, club nights and more. Tickets are not on sale yet (we'll have to wait until March 3) but the festival programme is up on the website, divided into four sections: - Galas: Opening and closing night and the Accenture gala. - Hearts: Films about love, romance and friendship. - Bodies: Stories of sex, identity and transformation - Minds: Reflections on art, politics and community

Il London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival si trasforma in BFI Flare: The London LGBT Film Festival per la sua 28esima edizione. Il termine Flare richiama alla mente il bagliore dei proiettori ma anche la luce delle nuove idee, e questo cambiamento nel nome segna un nuovo brillante inizio per il festival, senza pero' cambiarne la formula vincente.
Le date di quest'anno sono 20-30 marzo e vedranno un fittissimo programma di proiezioni, eventi, serate e altro. I biglietti non sono ancora in vendita (dovremo aspettare fino al 3 marzo) ma il programma del festival e' gia sul sito, diviso in quattro sezioni: -Galas: Serate di apertura e di chiusura e Accenture gala. -Hearts: Film sull'amore e l'amicizia -Bodies: Storie di sesso, identita' e trasformazione. -Minds: Riflessioni su arte, politica e comunita'.
