London Fashion Week AW14 ~ Nicole Farhi

The Nicole Farhi Autumn Winter 2014 presentation was incredibly enjoyable and relaxing (not to mention, a few blocks away from our place). Exactly what we needed on day 3 of London Fashion Week. We've been welcomed with super-healthy green detox smoothies by Imbibery, sushi and other kinds of finger-food and drinks. The room too, was very pretty and refreshing, with light blue decorated walls and flowers everywhere. For autumn-winter, Nicole Farhi's new creative director Joanna Skyes is inspired by marble dust infused light in Carrara, Italy. The colours recall nature, with pale blues, and greens, browns, neutrals, chalk white and darker tones. Everyone loved the midi-skirts and how they moved while the models walked on the catwalk and got inspired by the luxurious yet practical chunky knits and coats with fur details.
La presentation Autunno Inverno 2014 di Nicole Farhi e' stata incredibilmente piacevole e rilassante (senza contare il fatto che la location era a pochi isolati da casa nostra). Essattamente quello che ci serviva nel terzo giorno di London Fashion Week. Siamo state accolte con smoothie detox verdi super sani (di Imbibery), sushi, e altri tripi di finger food e drink. La stanza era bellissima, con pareti decorate azzurro pallido e fiori ovunque. Questa collezione della creative director Joanna Sykes prende ispirazione dalla luce che accarezza i marmi di Carrara. I colori ricordano la natura, con azzurri e verdi delicati, marroni, tonalita' neutre, bianco gesso e toni piu' scuri. Midi-skirt che ondeggiavano al passo delle modelle sulla passerella, ampi maglioni che uniscono il lusso alla praticita' e cappotti con inserti in pelo hanno incantato la sala.
