Beauty: make-up da Oscar

È arrivata l’attesissima notte degli Oscar e i nostri beniamini si sono tirati a lucido per il red carpet più chiacchierato dell’anno. Gli uomini hanno vita facile come sempre, ma le donne devono pensare ad abbinare alla perfezione abito, scarpe, accessori e soprattutto make-up.

The long-awaited Oscar night has finally come, and our celebrities have done their best to walk the most talked-about red carpet of the year. Men always live the easy life, but women have to think about how to match their dress with the shows, accessories and, most of all, their make-up.

La parola chiave è sicuramente semplicità: gran parte delle star ha preferito lasciare che l’attenzione rimanesse sui meravigliosi abiti senza appesantire il look con un make-up troppo costruito. Direi scelta azzeccatissima quella di una base uniforme e luminosa, poche ombreggiature sia su viso che su occhi, abbondante mascara e labbra tinta carne.

The keyword is, once again, simplicity: the majority of the celebs decided to keep to focus on their gowns and opt for a more natural make-up look. I’d say the perfect choice was a flawless and glowing base, contouring on both the eyes and face, loads of mascara and nude lips.

C’è chi però, grazie ai propri lineamenti, riesce a rimanere naturale e raffinata anche con un po’ più di trucco. In questo caso ben venga una sfumatura più marcata sugli occhi, ben bilanciata comunque da labbra molto naturali.

Pollice su anche per Emma Watson, che non rinuncia al suo amato rossetto rosso, finemente abbinato ad un trucco occhi sobrio.

Non troppo azzeccata invece la scelta di Lady Gaga: look nude con ombretto glitterato in tinta col vestito come unico tocco di colore. Un make-up che non valorizza e che in foto non rende al meglio.
