wedding photos and the cover of White magazine!

Well I am VERY excited that this is here at last! I am absolutely thrilled to be able to share with you the first of our wedding photos with you. And the big news: we are also on the front cover of White Magazine, with a feature inside, too!

I had no idea we had made the cover until the last minute – in fact, when I shared an instagram last week I'd literally got home from a meeting to find a bunch of notifications on my phone that White mag had published an instagram of it – and it is wonderful news: our photographer, the lovely and very talented Luke Going, does incredible work and I am so, so chuffed he made it to the cover with these. We were asked to hold of releasing any of his photos until things were locked in, and so we've been waiting patiently, fingers crossed and not wanting to do anything that could affect any of it, and it has all paid off. I cannot even tell you how pleased we are for Luke; he is not only an amazing photographer, he is an absolutely lovely guy and we can't sing his praises him enough! SO super chuffed he could be a part of our big day. Thanks again, Luke!

It's funny, but everything Wedding had been put to one side while we planned for our honeymoon (our big Europe trip) and it was just easier to not think about it too much at all, to help with that much-needed patience. It was also really lovely to let everything settle, and go into our married life, and to now come back and look at the photos feels extra special. That little bit of time that has passed adds a kind of glow to the whole thing, and it's really, really nice.

Now I look forward to sharing more photos with you (and more of John, ha!) and all the stories and background info and the stressy bits and the magical bits but this afternoon I got home from the supermarket to find the magazine in my mail box and I just had to tell you about it!
