Time for a little pre-New York flash back, the day before departure. Those where a crazy couple of (press) days – which explains the tired eyes – but I enjoyed them nonetheless. Seems like the days are flying by super fast since I got back, I have tons of catching up to do on all kinds of things – taking into consideration that I’m leaving on a big trip again in four weeks seems a bit crazy right now. I might have mentioned before that my boyfriend & I were heading to Indonesia (Java-Bali-Lombok) but we actually rerouted our trip to Sri Lanka because of the rain season. There was some doubt to add The Maldives to the itinerary, but after careful consideration we decided to skip it and enjoy the awesomeness Sri Lanka has to offer to the fullest. In conclusion, there’s not much to complain about! One thing that won’t be joining me in those tropical temperatures is this houndstooth jacket – but not to worry, I’m sure it’ll last quite a while here in Belgium.
