Bloggie Wednesday: Beautyholics Anonymous Finally Has A Weekly Newsletter!
Happy hump day, folks!
Instead of talking about blogging today, I thought I’d share some good news with you. Beautyholics Anonymous finally has a weekly newsletter!
Can you believe that I’ve been meaning to setup a proper weekly newsletter for over 2 years now and am only getting round to it now? Two years! See what I mean by me being a serial procrastinator? I know, I know. Feel free to smack me.
Okay, please don’t.
The newsletter is called Beautyholics Anonymous Insider where I’ll not only share my weekly round-up of posts on the blog with you, I’ll also be sharing interesting finds on the web, and tips and tricks on beauty and blogging. Every week (fingers crossed!), there will be content that you will not be able to find on the blog. I’ll also be sharing any cool discounts and promotions on shopping for you because *ahem* I’m all about the enabling, aren’t I?
I’m guessing you may ask how this differs from the blog subscription emails you already get from me. Y’know, the one you subscribed to where you get an email of my latest blog post each time there’s a new update? These are two separate emails. If you’re subscribed to my blog updates via email, you won’t be automatically subscribed to the weekly newsletter. I don’t want to add you to another mailing list without your permission. Don’t you just hate it when random companies subscribe you to their newsletters without your permission? It’s one of my pet peeves, I tell ya.
As I blog almost daily, one of the main reasons people unsubscribe to my blog via email updates is that I update too frequently. If they’re busy and don’t have time to read blog updates via email, the emails tend to build up in their inbox so much that they finally unsubscribe. Hey, I totally get that! It’s nothing personal. I’d do the same too.
This is where my weekly newsletter, Beautyholics Anonymous Insider, comes in. With weekly updates, you get just one email a week with a round-up of my posts for the week and much more. It doesn’t clog up your inbox and allows you to read when you can. Does that mean I’m shutting down the blog updates via email? Of course not! Both options are there for you, whichever suits you the best.
Of course, if you do subscribe to both, I’d really appreciate it. If not, and you’d like to just subscribe to either one, hey it’s all good too!
Oh and I almost forgot. When you subscribe to my weekly newsletter, there’s a freebie for you to download. I’m not going to tell you what it is but suffice it to say, if you’re a blogger, you might find it useful. Don’t worry if you’re not a blogger. I have something for you coming up very soon! It’s just a little somethin’ somethin’ as a way of saying thank you for subscribing to my newsletter.
