The Holiday Kit [Beauty]

Next monday, on the 3rd of November, the glamorest shop, Net-à-Porter, will launch its latest Beauty Box, The Holiday Kit. I was lucky enough to get it and test it first. Here are my thoughts about the 14 sample products i received:
Lundi prochain, le 3 novembre, le e-shop le plus glamour, Net-à-Porter, proposera sa toute dernière Box Beauté: The Holiday Kit. J’ai eu la chance de la tester en avant-première. Voici ce que je pense de ces 14 modèles d’essai:

Erno Laszlo, Pre Cleansing Oil and Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar:
The brand dates back to the 20s, and counted Audrey Hepburn as a client, for instance. All formulas remained as original. The Cleansing Oil does catch and dissolves all traces of make-up and pollution, while the mud cleansing bar takes the oil-ish layer away afterwards, to leave my skin soft and clean. The only drawback is: the mud is black, and leaves a weird color on the sink. Still, i am convinced and loved this duo so much, i will probably order it again.
Cette marque date des années 20 et comptait notamment Audrey Hepburn parmi ses clientes. Toutes les formules sont restées identiques aux originales. L’huile nettoyante capture et dissout toute trace de maquillage et pollution, puis, le savon de boue permet d’effacer l’huile du visage pour laisser place à une peau nette, propre et douce. Le petit souci: l’eau noire dans la lavabo. Je suis toutefois plutôt convaincue, et pourrait très bien commander ce duo à nouveau.

Tata Harper, Rejuvenating Serum:
Tata Harper offers a range of natural, non toxic products. It aims at achieving radiance and vitality. This serum, with its 29 all natural extract components, smells like a meadow! I have been using it every night for 15 days: It feels wonderful, the texture is comfy, rich but not too much, and i found the results convincing on my skin, both on surface and radiance. Might fall for this Serum again …
Tata Harper propose une gamme de produits naturels et non-toxiques. L’objectif ici, c’est l’éclat et la vitalité. Avec 29 composants naturels, ce serum sent la prairie! Je l’utilise tous les soirs depuis 15 jours: la texture est hyper agréable, riche mais pas trop, et je suis satisfaite des résulats, sur ma peau, en terme de lissage et d’éclat. Je risque fort d’y revenir …

Verso Day Cream:
I have tried this cream recently for the first time, although i had already received a sample before, because it’s made with Retinol, and my dermatologist told me i should avoid retinol as a day cream in summer. I was being very careful, though, because this day cream integrates a sun screen anyway. Retinol 8 is great to boost collagen synthesis to strengthen skin. This cream is very light and does not leave the skin heavy at all. A good formula.
J’essaie cette crème de jour depuis peu, malgré un premier échantillon reçu il y a déjà quelques mois, parce qu’elle contient du retinol, ce que ma dermato a déconseillé pendant l’été. J’étais probablement trop prudente, toutefois, puisque la crème Verso contient un filtre solaire. Le retinol 8 est super pour booster la production de collagène. La crème reste légère et ne laisse pas la peau grasse. Une bonne formule en somme.

Earth tu Face Face Balm:
I did not get the opportunity to test this balm yet, but will try to give my opinion later. It’s very promising: the all Earth-tu-Face line is made of natural products, and this balm promises to sooth dehydrated skin, especially after having had too much sun or too much cold. I will take it to the mountain for christmas, that’s for sure.
Je n’ai pas encore eu la possibilité de tester ce baume, mais donnerai certainement mon avis plus tard. C’est tentant: d’une part, toute la ligne Earth-tu-Face est faite de composants naturels, d’autre part, ce baume est sensé réparer les peaux ultra-déshydratées, par le froid ou le soleil. Mon baume Earth-tu-Face sera certainement du voyage, pour le ski à Noel!

Susanne Kaufmann Shower/Shampoo:
The purpose is to offer four products in one – body cleanser, skin nourishment, shampoo and conditioner. Great for these mornings when you are too much in a hurry. This happened last week, and i tried this one shower/shampoo instead of my usual showering routine products. Well it’s pretty convincing. Skin and hair are soft and clean… Very handy. Plus, the line is made with organic active plant ingredients in the Austrian Mountains ^_^
L’idée est de proposer un produit 4 en 1: nettoyant et hydratant corps, shampoing et après-shampoing cheveux. Parfait pour les matins où nous sommes trop pressées. La semaine dernière, j’ai eu matin comme ça, et ai donc remplacé ma routine de douche par ce nettoyant tout en un. Et c’est plutôt pas mal. On est toute propre et toute douce! Pratique. ET puis tout ceci est fait d’ingrédients bio, dans les montagnes Autrichiennes ^_^

Show Beauty, Divine Thickening Lotion:
I think i had not used a texturiser on my hair for at least 20 years! I really gave it a try and liked it. This lotion promises to help us achieve bombshell hair looks, without weighing it down.

Cela doit bien faire 20 ans que je n’ai pas utilisé de texturisant pour cheveux! J’ai toutefois essayé pour de vrai, et j’ai aimé. Cette lotion promet un résultat lisse et bombé, sans pour autant alourdir le cheveux. ET c’est vrai. Voir avec et sans

De Mamiel Salvation Body Oil:
I have not tried this one yet, but it’s promising, all made of natural and organic essential oils ^_^
Pas encore testé, mais c’est tentant, cette petite huile 100% naturelle ^_^

Malin Goetz Vitamin b5 Body Moisturizer:
I tried this moisturiser on my hands at night, as suggested, and found it very effective indeed : ) Leaves my hand all nurtured and soft…
J’ai testé ce lait hydratant sur mes mains, la nuit, comme suggéré, et j’ai trouvé qu’il était plutôt efficace en effet : )
Les mains sont hydratées et douces…

Renouve Anti-Aging Everyday Defense Hand-Santizer Nº1:
This is not a nourishing cream, it’s more like a light serum that will fight against signs of age on your hands. It’s 95% natural and paraben-free. It’s from Switzerland and it seems to be efficient on my hands, although hard to demonstrate on a short period of time
Ceci n’est pas une crème hydratante mais plutôt un sérum anti-âge pour les mains. 95% naturel et sans parabens, venant de Suisse, tout un programme. Le serum parait efficace, mais c’est difficile de se rendre compte sur une période aussi courte.

This Works Sleep Plus Pillow Spray:
Well i cannot tell you if it was thanks to this spray, but i did sleep well these past two weeks. Just fell asleep as if i was lying in the middle of a lavender field, in South of France. Happy place or what?
Je ne saurais dire si c’est grâce à ce spray, mais j’ai bien dormi ces deux dernières semaines. On s’endort comme dans un champs de lavande, en Ardèche ou dans le Lubéron (environ). Happy Place.

Ilia Bang Bang Tinted Lip Conditioner:
You really feel the nourishing effect when applying this one lip conditionner, made with with moisturising Cocoa Butter and soothing Jojoba Oil. And the pigments are strong enough, which is not that easy to achieve in the area I am wearing it on my previous post, for instance.
On sent vraiment l’effet hydratant de ce soin pour les lèvres, fait de beurre de cacao et d’huile de jojoba. Et les pigments sont assez présents, ce qui est généralement trop rare pour ce genre de produits.

Chantecaille Liquid Lumière Anti-Aging Illuminator – Brilliance:
This one is to be layered between a day cream and a foundation. It does bring lots of “lumière” indeed. I really liked it. It makes my skin glow, the positive way.
Voici un embellisseur à appliquer entre la crème de jour et le fond de teint. Il apporte beaucoup de lumière, et j’ai vraiment aimé son effet glowy.

B the eyebrow expert Eyebrow Gel
That’s perfect to shape eyebrows without modifying their natural color. I had never really thought of doing anything for my eyebrows before, in terms of make-up. But this gel does make a difference on my look, and my eyebrows stay in place for a few hours at least. I think i have adopted a new step in my make-up routine
Le petit produit parfait pour façonner les sourcils sans altérer leur couleur naturelle. Je n’avais vraiment envisagé de redessiner mes sourcils avant cela, mais dois reconnaitre que le regard se trouve modifié, et que les sourcils restent fixés pour plusieurs heures. Une nouvelle étape de ma routine make-up
