RejuvadermMD: For Microdermabrasion On-The-Go

I am so here for beauty technology. Yes, I’m a hippie who enjoys making her own skincare products and (safely) laying in the sun to get my dose of Vitamin D, but I also love when beauty and technology play nicely. Such is the case with the RejuvadermMD Handheld Microdermabrasion System.

Yes, girl. Quite the mouthful, I know but come on…hang with me. I think you’ll like this nifty device. I had the opportunity to review this a few months back and I’ve been diligently using it ever since. I’ve never given Microdermabrasion a thought as I thought my skin couldn’t really benefit from it, but I couldn’t be more wrong. While I don’t have any wrinkles (YET, honey…being a Mom of a toddler means they’ll be popping up any day, though), I am all about preventative care. I want to have a regimen in place that can keep lines and wrinkles away for longer and minimize them when they do come.

Most beauty lovers are aware of microdermabrasion treatments that you can have at a spa. And you may be aware of products that you can purchase that claim to give a similar effect. However, RejuvadermMD is allowing us to have the same spa experience at home time and time again. Which, of course is not only cost-effective, but it’s convenient, as well.

4 settings determine the strength.

And simple. The actual device is lightweight, easy to pack up and relatively simple to use. Retailing at $199, RejuvadermMD totes the following features and promises:

  • Powerfully exfoliates the top 3-5 layers of outer dermis
  • Is “100% Crystal Free”
  • Delivers results on par with clinical treatments over time
  • Reduces the fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, and brown spots on the face and body
  • Smooths uneven skin

With its medical grade diamond tip, at first glance, you’ll see that RejuvadermMD isn’t a toy. This is for the big leagues, ladies and gentlemen. If you are serious about evening out that skin and keeping those wrinkles minimized, this is the device that you’ll want to use.

What is included in the kit?

-The RejuvadermMD device
Medium Coarseness Real Diamond Tip
-Pore Extraction Tip
-Infusion Tip
-50 pack Black Wool Filters
-Power Adapter
-User Manual

The First Run
I gave myself an entire month to test this device as I really wanted to experience how my skin felt after using it over many weeks. The suction on this devices reallllly sucks. And not a BAD suck, I mean an actual suck. There are 4 different levels and I found that the first 2 levels were perfect for me. Those with sensitive skin may struggle with the initial run because it may be painful. But hey, after seeing all of the gunk that came out of the tube, I was impressed at how powerful this device was.

Who would most benefit from using the RejuvadermMD?
After consulting with their dermatologist, I bet those with cystic acne would really benefit from using this. Also, those looking to smooth our their skin and keep a nice and clear complexion would love it, too. I found that using it twice a week was perfect for me and it practically made my pores disappear. Okay, not REALLY disappear but they appear smaller when I am wearing makeup.

Can you purchase different tips?

You can! There’s the Pore Extraction Tip, Body Tip, Infusion Tip, Precision Tip and Diamond Tips for sensitive skin. The tips range from $25-$50 in price and are definitely needed for those who have specialized areas that they would like to target.

And if you’re like me and suffer from acne from time to time, the Pore Extraction Tip is a total must have. Also, for an additional $39, I recommend getting a bottle of the Argan Stem Cell Serum.

It not only helps to tighten the pores but overtime, the claims say that it will help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It’s like the whip cream on top of your sundae. The sundae is perfect alone but the whip cream can only make it better, right?

PRO’s

-Easy to use.
-Instruction manual is easy to understand.
-It pampers AND treats skin.
-You can purchase additional tips for various uses.

CON’s

-May be painful during first use.
-Users may see redness after use. This is normal and the redness usually goes away within an hour or so.

And if you’d rather see a video…

I have to hide this from Grandmama Clumps when she comes to visit because I know she’ll be trying to get her hands on this. For more information about the RejuvadermMD and purchase, visit here.
