Check, Please!

It's getting cold here in Indiana. Since moving back home to Indiana a few years ago, I have found myself hoarding check flannel button ups. They become my go-to look with a pair of skinny jeans and boots when the leaves start falling. They keep you so warm, and are the perfect versatile fall wardrobe staple. I thought they paired perfectly with these super comfy pants I got the other day for 50% off at Old Navy. I had gone in to buy one blouse I spotted in a magazine, and I ended up staying for their Buy One Get One 50% Off sale.

So there is kind of a lot going on here with this outfit. We have polka dot pants, a checkered flannel, snake skin belt, red scarf and maroon clutch. Too much? I don't know. I've never listened to the Coco Chanel's advice to edit your outfit right before you leave the house to make sure you're not too overworked. Seems too boring!
