Floral Friday

Since I was a kid I've had a penchant for flowers. I was influenced by my mother who absolutely loved having flowers around her. While she didn't always have fresh flowers in the house, she constantly pointed out flowers to me whenever we walked around the neighborhood or we walked in the city. She talked about having all kinds of flowers in the garden and she told me that when I was pregnant one day, to have flowers around me and always have something pretty to look at (hah...funny lady).

Well, I took her advice literally since I crave fresh flowers all the time and love capturing images of flowers, too. So on the day that I can't have fresh, fragrant florals near me, at least I can remember the ones I did have.
