A Parent's Promise

There is this quote that I just read recently . . actually, a friend of mine sent me this small little quote from a newspaper clipping. I decided to look it up and see what it was all about.

I decided to make my own little chalkboard version of A Parent's Promise. I will do all of the above mentioned at some point I am sure. But I will also trust my children and be their friend. I will believe that my children are good and I promise to sow seeds of trust, respect and uderstanding. My children can always count on me to be there for them in any capacity. I will love them all unconditionally.
