STYLE JOURNEY: A PLUS SIZE COAT WITH FLAIR

Hey curvy girls all over the world, Whenever I shop the plus size department stores for winter plus size coats, I swear all I ever see are endless amounts of black coats with no interesting details. In the midst of a sea of black coats is always some teeny bopper plaid puffer coat that gives me that oh, hell no face. This year, I wanted to take a break from black coats. I wanted a coat that had color, a little charisma, and flair.

And, recently, I found the perfect coat that actually describes my personality a little bit. This ASOS Curve fit and flair wool coat was the perfect addition to my winter outerwear collection. The rich and bright oxblood color worked well with my complexion and the flared skirted bottom had charisma and was just plain fun. As you can see from the picture above, I twirled around in it a few times.

Because ASOS Curve sizing can be a bit off, I ordered my regular size in tops. I figured the flared bottom would give me more than enough room for my ample hips. If this coat had been a structured, I would have gone a size up.
