Burberry Nail Polish No. 106 Dark Trench Review, Swatches and Photos

Burberry released their nail polish range probably over half a year or even more ago and I’ve been meaning to test them out to see where they sit across the range of designer nail polish.

Just like the Burberry beauty product range, the packaging here is true to their style and branding. Comes with an outer lid that covers the screw top lid with the brush. Cute design, similar in concept to many other designer brands too.

I decided to go for a more wearable neutral shade called Dark Trench. It’s one of my many superficial goals to own a Burberry trench, so I couldn’t pass up a polish that shared the same name

Generally, this wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. Pigmentation wise was average, I needed two decent coats to ensure I had proper coverage (would have needed three if I applied thin coats). The brush again was standard, nothing like the Dior brushes which are just so amazing I don’t understand why more brands don’t follow! And longevity wise, I noticed chipping after a few days, just through normal wear and tear.

So all in all, I probably won’t be dashing out to grow my Burberry nail polish collection, but if an interesting colour were to cross my path I wouldn’t resist picking it up

If you’re keen, each polish retails for $29AUD from selected David Jones, which is where I got mine.
