As summer approaches, we need to get our bodies ready. I don’t mean just working out to get that swimsuit body, but I mean getting our skin smooth so it’s ready to be shown off. The harsher winter season can leave our skin feeling rough and dry, especially on our joints. If you’re anything like me, then you’ll need some extra tender loving care to smooth out your skin. I highly recommend the following products to get rid of rough skin so that your body is ready for tanks and shorts.

This is my favorite exfoliator because not only does it smell divine but it does the job of getting rid of my dead skin. It’s definitely my favorite out of the two because it reminds me so much of vanilla ice-cream. The smell s not artificial and it reminds me so much of the beach.

Since this scrub contains Jasmine petals, peaches and vanilla, the smell is the strongest out of the two. However, it doesn’t stay strong and fades away as you rub it across your skin. It can be really refreshing during an early morning shower. I also really enjoy the ombre tubes that the product comes in.

After exfoliation, it’s really important to keep your skin moisturized afterwards. What’s really unique about this sorbet by The Body Shop, is that the texture is very light. It’s not a cream; it’s a sorbet. The light texture is very fitting for the summer because it’s fast-absorbing. It keeps my skin smooth without being too oily and heavy. On The Body Shop website, they recommend putting the Body Sorbet in the fridge for an even more refreshing moisture sensation. I feel like this sorbet is made just for the summer!
