London Fashion Week: Day Three: What's In My Handbag
Today I've been carrying an amazing colour block clutch from Russell and Bromley. During fashion week it's hard to know where you will end up next. I've had days where I plan to be home in time for dinner and will suddenly receive a last minute invite to an after party and have needed to make a quick turn around. Here's what I carry in my bag at all times so that I am prepared for whatever fashion can throw at me.
1. My phone collection - I have always been an iPhone user but the battery isn't good enough for it to last me through a day of shows, presentations and parties so I always carry different phones with me to accomodate my needs. The Blackberry Curve (pictured) is perfect for emails on the go and has a great battery life whilst the new Nokia Lumia 620 (also pictured) is a Windows 8 phone so is perfect for tweeting, checking my blog and facebook on the go.
2. Business Cards - These are one of the worst things to forget, I carry some in my Liliyang London cardholder and also carry tweet cards which have just my URL and twitter handle, these are great for moments when I am being snapped for street style. People can tweet me the images they have taken later.
3. Make-up - I love make-up and often mention favourites that I am using. The selection below are products I can't live without and use on a daily basis. I always pack the classics including a Bobbi Brown shimmer brick, YSL Touche Eclat, Nails Inc's hero shade; Porchester Square and a Carmex lip-balm. But if I know I will potentially be going out in the evening I pack a Nars blusher and Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick to give me a little more of an evening look.
4. Arm Candy - I always pack some spare jewellery and yesterday I took a Made UK bracelet and Baume and Mercier watch with me for added evening glamour.
5. Spare Change and Extra Memory - £3 just incase I need to hitch a ride and 4GB of memory just in case I take too many pictures and need a refill.
