Iceland 06

The Blue Lagoon was our first stop after we landing in the Iceland airport. We got there right when it opened and spent a few hours... It was the perfect way to relax after a flight and a rather long experience with a very scattered rental car company, which consisted of us sitting on the pavement eating skyr and granola in front of an old warehouse for an hour or so while those that ran the company did... things. Not sure what, exactly. But we were in Iceland, so all was well. After 2.5 hours, we ended up with a car. A very, very special car. That mostly worked the whole time.

But, back to the lagoon. We waded in the warm slippery, almost thick, whitish water... Stood under a waterfall that beat our neck muscles out of stress... And sat in a geothermal steam bath until we felt light headed. ​It was charming.
