We made lots of great memories this summer and took so many photos. My problem is once I take the pictures, I don’t do anything with them. Do you have any creative ideas on what I can do with all those photos.

~Gloria, Texas

I am glad that you and your family had an awesome summer Gloria. What’s even better is that you have lots of great memories as a reminder. Those are memories that you can cherish forever. Now let’s get those photos off of the camera and a part of a creative project as quickly as possible. The longer you take to re-purpose your photos, the less likely you are to do something spectacular with them.

Summer Photo Books and Gifts

This is by far one of the easiest projects that you can make with your summer photos. Companies like Snapfish and Shutterfly make it easy to upload photos and transform them into easy photo books in a flash. You could consider making one photo book for each travel destination/activity or to make things more simple, one summer photo book per year would also work well. Oh and don’t feel limited by those photo books either. These companies make other customized products like mugs, cell phone cases and even blankets and pillows.

Wall Galleries/Collages

I’m sure you’ve seen those awesome photo galleries in homes, museums and even on Pinterest. The problem is, once the photos are removed, you’re left with a “holey” mess. Wemontage takes your photos and turns them into custom wall paper and collages that can easily decorate any space. I found out about Wemontage recently and just love the fact that not only can you customize your space but, no nails are required.

Animated Slideshows

Animoto is an innovative way to use lots of photos at once and turn them into a video slide show gold. You can choose your video style, and music, customizing the slideshows exactly how you want. It’s just a whole lot of fun.

Use any of these tools to get a running start on making sure your summer memories are not forgotten and those memories are treasured for a long time to come.
