One of the easiest projects to DIY? Candy mason jar favors! Fill a half-pint mason jar (or, I think these are pretty neat, too) with your favorite candy and add a simple ‘thank you’ tag. This couple apparently has good taste, too: they chose full-size Reese’s (my fave) and Kit-Kat bars, among other delectable treats. YUM. Talk about a favor that won’t be left on tables afterward.

When it comes to wedding favors — especially DIY wedding favors — start early. No one wants to be tying one-hundred thank you tags to mason jars at 1am two nights before the wedding. :) Also, ask for help: order pizzas and ask the bridesmaids over to assist! Oh, and order extra Reese’s, because, you know, those seem to disappear… at least whenever I’m around… :)
