K-Beauty Trends with HERA @ Cosmopolitan Korea Beauty Awards

I was invited to Cosmo Asian Beauty Awards on December 4th, held at State Tower Namsan (to be exact 26th floor @ The State Room.) I will show you all videos and photos I took at the event, but first this post will focus on the things I learned at the HERA's presentation and private lesson with professional makeup artists.

I love how the famous architectures you can find in Seoul are represented in miniature versions here with along the wildly popular products like mist cushion, rouge holic, cc cream and primers etc.

100 beauty bloggers were invited to this event but we were all divided into different groups (10 per group), in that way we can fully focus on taking photos, notes, and videos to make the high-quality contents and don't interfere with each other's works.
As some others in my group were listening to first part of the speech at HERA, me and two other bloggers were welcomed inside the party makeup area. Here we could briefly chat with professional makeup artists and quickly transform from day to night looks with bold lipsticks and eyebrows. Literally, it took about a minute or two!

btw, I chose a purple lipstick because too often you can find me wearing pink shades.

You probably all are familiar with Parisian women, Cali girls, but SEOULISTA? This is the new trend and center of Korean Beauty

Actress Gianni Jun (or Jun Ji-Hyun in Korean way) represents HERA today. She is one of my favorite actresses and HERA thinks of her as the perfect role model to many. She is successful in her career and as a married woman. She's confident and beautiful in both inside and out.

This research was pretty interesting. Research on Korean women's characteristics showed that Korean women tend to be trend-forward, passionate, show talents internationally/globally, intelligent, stay positive, and always work hard for personal development.

If all these characteristics make oneself a SEOULISTA, then I would like to be one myself too ;)
