Miche Bags: A Mix of Style and Social Responsibility

Looking for fashion on a budget? You can buy a base bag and interchangeable shells to keep up with the ever-changing trends from Miche, which sponsored this post. The company gives back from the portion of purchases of a specific shell to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. Miche bags are truly a mix of style and social responsibility.

When I shop I look at the sales and clearance racks. I hardly ever pay full price. And to be honest I haven’t bought a new bag in ages. Yes, it’s embarrassing to use the same old bag, but I can’t find one that I like and meets my needs and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

When I heard about Miche bags, I thought this was a great concept. The bags are trendy and it’s easy to change their look quickly. Think of it, one bag and magnetic covers really cuts back on the cost. No more going through the tons of stuff that ends up in my bag to switch it to another bag. (From what I remember the last time I did that.) If you need bags for different events just find the shells that work for them.

Pronounced Mee-Chee

One thing I do love to buy is jewelry. Not the real gold, diamond and gem kind, but the fake stuff. Or I guess you call it faux. Miche carries jewelry too. Some pieces are interchangeable – another way to save money. Their accessories include a purse organizer, wallets and more.

Now more about the social responsibility part. Miche began their Hope initiative to give hope to others. Their Chief Design and Production Officer Jennie Platt created their Hope shell in 2010. So far, they have raised over 2 million dollars for cancer research. The money they raise is not only donated to a non-profit, it symbolizes the courage and optimism of those who have cancer and their families. This quote says it all, “We do more than just “hope for hope.” For us, hope is an action word—as a Miche community we help make miracles happen.”

Interchangeable Bags

After learning about Miche, I’m impressed by their business model. The way they offer low prices through their design is unique. And the mix of style and social responsibility make it first class.
