Sassoon Salon in Seattle

On 5th Ave in downtown Seattle you’ll find Sassoon Salon. The salon is bright and beautiful inside and is filled with seasoned experts in hair cuts and color. I had the opportunity to spend time in their salon last week to have my hair cut and colored by two of their fabulous stylists, Lisa Rowell the salon’s Creative Director and Carmen Wenthold their Color Director. As I got to chatting with each of them I was blown away by their high degrees of sophisticated knowledge and passion for what they do.

Some may say that the true test of a stylist is how they handle listening to their clients hopes and hair dreams, then with that information interpreting those desires into something that’s flattering for that person. Both Lisa and Carmen passed this test with flying colors- I’m loving my new do. Lisa, patiently listened to my hair story and hopes for slightly shorter hair. She carefully assessed my face shape and hair textures, before I knew it she was snipping new layers into my hair, cutting off a couple inches and giving me a new shoulder length do. For color Carmen sprinkled highlights into my hair- we’re midway through winter here in Seattle and I really needed something to brighten my mood and my hair. The result of her work (hand-painted highlights of carmel and other light hues) gave me a look rich in color and dimension. This new shorter lighter do was just the bright refresher I needed to get me through to spring.

Sassoon Salon is celebrating a big milestone for their Seattle Salon, their 5th anniversary. They are hosting a party at their salon to celebrate and you’re invited.
