A MODERN HEPBURN

Saint Laurent dress // Rag & Bone bomber // Balenciaga boots // Celine sunglasses.

I am not implying I look like Audrey Hepburn, but my hair in combination with the sunglasses in the first photo made me think of her… She’s never really been a style icon to me. Not sure why, maybe because I don’t really do icons, nor was I ever a Backstreet Boys groupie, or a Take That fan – no offense to anyone who was, I wasn’t just one of you. So, when searching the web about Audrey, just to see whether my thoughts about her hair and mine were right, I thought about the Audrey anno 2014. What would she have been like if she would have been living her high-days now? Would she sport her sexy looks in little black dresses, or would she rather be more a more-is-less type? I know for sure that she would have loved the new take on Saint Laurent, not so much in combination with the boots I did, but most definitly with the hair like this and a pair of oversized sunglasses! She would have shopped at Département Féminin, for sure. Just as Evanglie and I did for our Parisian photo shoot with this luxury store. This look is the first out of three I’ve shot with them, and I am absolutely thrilled by the result. I never though a little black dress could be so sporty and sexy at the same time… Audrey would have been proud, I hope…
