I've always been a fan of L'Occitane's elegant packaging, beautiful scents and innovative concepts, but their latest collection excites me more than any previous launch. The Aromachologie Collection is a new concept that celebrates the apothecary history of the beauty world, partnered with naturally derived ingredients and essential oils. Composing of two sub-collections, revitalizing and relaxing, the range includes everything you need to look and feel fabulous. I adore the dark bottles and simplistic labels, taking beauty right back to basics; although they're plastic and not glass, the result is just as powerful and the price point much more affordable.

The revitalizing shower gel (£14.00) is zingy and uplifting, perfect for early morning showers, while the body scrub (£22.00) easily buffs away dull and dry skin to leave it feeling refreshed. What I love about the scrub isn't just the fabulous jar it comes in, but the fact it's thick enough to work even under a running shower. In addition there's a great range of relaxing products that help to get you in the mood for slumber, including a lightweight and nourishing massage oil (£14.00) and delicate pillow mist (£14.00) that include notes of lavender, bergamot, mandarin, sweet orange and geranium. L'Occitane have done a great job at creating a sub-brand that not only looks great, performs effectively and smells amazing, but appeals to our inner vintage queen - this is such a nod to the apothecary brands that are so on-trend right now, including Aesop, but demand exceptional price points. Considering most of the products are only £14.00, they make great little treats or fab presents for loved ones that mean you've still got change for a card. Well done L'Occitane; I salute you.
