If there’s one thing I try to show here at Poor Little It Girl, it’s that not all great looks need to be made up of fancy, showy pieces. Don’t get me wrong, a fab dress or killer skirt is total perfection, but sometimes a collection of great basics, that you probably already have in your closet, can create that much-beloved classic style. The trick: mixing a combination of complementary neutral shades (I went with navy, tan and black) and then, you guessed it, always add on a bold red lip.
