Daytime Naked 3 Look with Blue Eye Liner

Urban Decay seems to be on fire. The cosmetic giant recently released its new Electric palette after producing a trilogy of Naked palettes (let’s not forget the Naked Basics). I’m a neutral girl – so the Electric had little appeal to me.

I filmed this look last month and never got around to swatches or posting it on the blog. I’m sure you’re tired of seeing swatches of the palette, because after all, it’s all about what looks you can achieve with it.

The Naked 3 palette is limited. Sure, it’s beautiful with it’s monochromatic pink colour scheme, but it is not as diverse as the first two Naked palettes.

I found that an easy way to spice things up with this palette for an everyday neutral look was to pair it with a purple or blue eye liner. In this case, I’m wearing the Marcelle 2 in 1 retractable eyeliner in Azurite along my upper lash line. It changes everything about this bland makeup look, don’t you find?

Products mentioned in the video tutorial above:

  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Tube – Original
  • Strange, Limit, Nooner, Darkside
  • Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer
  • Marcelle 2 in 1 retractable eyeliner Azurite
  • Marcelle Xtension Plus ProLash Growth Complex Mascara

Products worn (but not mentioned): Make Up For Ever HD foundation 118 - review, Make Up For Ever HD cream blush 420 – posted here, Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle mixed with Crème Brulee.

If I had my pick out of all the Nakeds, I would say that Urban Decay set the bar at its highest with it’s original Naked Palette. Nonetheless, I still purchased Naked 3 and I have enjoyed using it.

What are your thoughts on the Naked 3 palette and how do you where it?

*I purchased the Naked 3 palette myself, but some of the other products featured in this post were sent to me for consideration in the past.

xx
