Last week, I filmed a video collaboration using Olay Fresh Effects products. They set me and a fellow blogger up for a night out to put the products to the test (so cool!).

Ellie and I wound up having dinner at Le Bremner, taking a walk on the wild side at the Lana Del Rey concert, drinks at Wunderbar and slumber at the W Hotel. It was the ultimate girl’s night out, if you ask me.

Before heading to bed, I put the Fresh Effects line to good use and prepped my skin. We all want to avoid that “morning-after” look, you know, like the one Tamara had in the last episode of Awkward (S4.E5)!

Late Night Skincare Routine Olay Fresh Effects

In all fairness, this wasn’t the first time I used the Fresh Effects line because I have received samples through the Beauty United program a couple of months ago. I knew exactly what I was getting into. Here’s the product list:

• Olay Fresh Effects Deep Pore Clean Exfoliating Scrub
• Olay Fresh Effects Bright On Schedule Eye Awakening Cream
• Olay Fresh Effects Dew Over Hydrating Gel Moisturizer

The Deluxe Makeup Remover Clothes help wipe away dirt, oil and makeup – even waterproof makeup. If you are too tired to move on to cleanser, just rinse your face after removing you makeup and put on a light moisturizer – done and zzz.

Next, there’s the Deep Pore Clean Exfoliating Scrub, it has a dual function because it cleanses, while exfoliating. It contains salicylic acid, which will help deal with any pesky break outs.

Nothing is more telling than a set of tired and puffy eyes! For that, there’s the refreshing Bright on Schedule tri-rollerball applicator cream. It’s like a mini, cooling massage for your eyes. I’ve used it both day and night – it’s my favourite item from the line.

Finally, the Hydrating Gel Moisturizer provides further cooling sensation to the skin thanks to honeysuckle and antioxidant-rich white tea ingredients.
