Blue and Gold Geometric Manicure

In my Jet Set into Fall with Revlon post, I featured this manicure using Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy in Double Down instead of the CND Vinylux in Locket Love. Locket Love has a more silver tone, whereas Double Down has a more copper tone to it.

I used Nailene Perfect Tips and Toes French Polish Guides to create this blue and gold geometric manicure. It was really easy.

First I applied the gold/silver shade as a base on my nails.

Once the first coat of nail polish dried, I stuck on the sticker guides according to the shapes I wanted to create for each nail.

I used one coat of the darker polish shade and immediately peeled the stickers off as I finished with each nail.

When the dark blue, Gel Envy Ace of Spades dried, I used an Opal top coat that I have from Avon (see previous post).

The last step was to seal the manicure with the Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat. The other top coat I reach for often is the CND Vinylux weekly top coat.

I think my next nail-do will be a moon manicure, they are perfect for the fall season and ultra gorgeous on almond shaped nails. What do you think?

This post contains PR sample(s) sent for editorial consideration.
