Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!
BC and Della recently released a fun collaboration to jump start the Spring season using fabrics handcrafted by a community of women in Ghana, West Africa. I’m wearing their d’Orsay flats here! Della employs women local to the Volta region to hand make these beautiful textiles. In addition to creating much-needed jobs, every sale of a Della product supports company-implemented programs, such as twice-weekly literacy classes, weekly financial management classes and after school programs for children. Della even provides a savings account for each employee, offering 10% per contribution. Such a great way to support a beautiful cause while rocking a pair of awesome shoes!
BC Footwear is also launching an Instagram contest today & you can win a pair of shoes from the collaboration! All you have to do is post a photo on Instagram about how you carry change (something that you do for others, a friend, family member, or even the community). Be as creative as you want with this! Post your photo and tag @bcfootwear #carrychange and you’re entered to win. BC is picking three winners (US residents only) at the end of the 3 week period (ends April 6). Good luck!!
